Reg number: SW113578 In my social work career I have had the opportunity to work with many children, young people and their families to bring about positive and sustainable change. I have dealt with clients through early intervention approaches, child in need, child protection all the way through to seeking permenancy for children through care and court proceedings. I have had the opportunity to provide parenting support to families in relation to but not limited to the following: - Parenting support - Access to universal services - Support in education for children and young people - Domestic Abuse, spotting the signs, its impact and how to seek relevant and safe support. - Substance misuse, the impact on children and families and getting support. - Understanding grooming, spotting the signs and the impact on children and young people - Criminal exploitation and county lines - Supporting children and families through the foster care process - Supporting children and families through the adoption process - Advocating for children and families I pride myself in being a very good listener who is pretty down to earth so you can speak to about anything.
