'I've always struggled with my weight. I love food and the feeling of being full at night. Diets are short term and never changed my lifestyle. Dieting isn't something I really believe in so its easy to break a diet. Blow out today and back on track tomorrow never really works.
I would take comments and assistance from family personally and as criticism. They said it was never intended to be critical but it felt like it and I couldn't really see how it wasn't being critical. Too easy to then find comfort in food. Another excuse to binge on crap.
I wouldn't book a Service myself. I'm to cynical for that but even I have to admit it was good to talk to someone who I didn't know. Who didn't judge me and wasn't lecturing me. Conversations are about shared experiences and how difficult temptation is. Feels like we're in it together and I think we are !! Talking through shopping habits, don't buy it, can't eat it. I'm never gong to be thin as a rake but I feel better about myself. Not so alone and having someone to speak to helps. Small steps with less blow outs. Smaller burgers : )'
