Sarah
My name is Sarah, and I’m a 29-year-old mother of four—three girls and one boy, ages two to ten. I work at a college supporting young adults with learning disabilities, and as the second of eight siblings, with the youngest just nine years old, I’ve spent much of my life surrounded by children. Parenthood has been crazy, fun, challenging, exhausting, and rewarding all at once, with each day bringing something new. I consider myself open-minded, down-to-earth, and happy, finding fulfillment in helping others and creating a space where people feel safe, cared for, and understood. I offer services focused on well-being for kids and new parents, giving people the chance to express themselves freely. Whether it’s addressing concerns, working toward goals, or simply having a friendly chat, I’m here to listen.
Becoming a teen mum was tough—I lived in a mother and baby foster placement where I got the support I needed. I have Irish twins, so two children born within a year, and in 2020 I left a toxic relationship, becoming a single mother navigating life in a new area with three small children while managing my own mental health. After being told I couldn’t have more children, I became pregnant a year later. I may not have all the answers, but I hope my experiences can help guide and inspire someone else’s journey.
