Hi, I’m Chanel. I’m a mum of two, with a son who is 23 and a daughter who is 7, so I’ve experienced parenting at very different stages. Alongside my own family life, I’ve spent many years around parents and families in different settings, including work connected to co-parenting relationships and family dynamics. That, together with my own experience, has shaped how I see communication, relationships, and the day-to-day realities of parenting. Through both my personal life and time around other families, I’ve seen how parenting can bring a mix of emotions, challenges, and changing dynamics — especially when it comes to co-parenting, communication, and finding your own way as a parent over time. I’ve also spent time around early parenthood and parent–infant relationships, which has given me a wider perspective on how those early stages can feel and how different everyone’s experience can be. I enjoy open, honest conversations about what things are really like, and I value hearing how it’s been for other parents just as much as sharing my own. I’ve been told I’m a good listener, and I appreciate those kinds of calm, thoughtful chats — whether it’s a catch-up or just getting things off your chest about the day. I’m open to conversations with parents at different stages, including those navigating co-parenting relationships or changes within family life, as well as anyone who relates to these kinds of experiences. I’m here to chat as another parent, not to offer advice or services, just to share and listen through real-life experience.
