Hi, I’m a dad to a lively teenager, and I’ve experienced many years of the ups and downs that come with raising a child. I spent a large part of that time as a full-time stay-at-home dad, which meant being closely involved in the day-to-day realities of parenting — from school runs and routines to communicating with schools, co-parenting, and navigating different systems along the way. Over the years, I’ve experienced everything from managing illnesses and everyday routines to supporting learning during Covid, cooking, budgeting, and balancing it all with my own needs. Being one of the few dads in those spaces at times has also shaped how I’ve experienced parenting. For me, a lot of it has been about juggling priorities, adapting as things change, and figuring things out as I go. I enjoy open, down-to-earth conversations and hearing about other people’s experiences, as well as sharing my own. I’ve been told I’m a good listener, and I value those kinds of easy, honest chats. I’m here to chat as another parent, not to offer advice or services, just to share and listen through real-life experience.
