Hi, I'm Nikki. I am a 34-year-old disabled mum of two neurodivergent children (7 & 12), with a BA in Education in Professional Practice focusing on SEN needs. Because of this, I fully understand the complex challenges parents face within the home and outside. Prior to my health declining, I worked with adults and children with SEN needs, making my own resources and lesson plans; ensuring that I supported each of their individual needs. As a recently divorced, single mum, I know how busy life can be and how easy it is to focus solely on the children, but focusing on yourself is just as important.
